Responding with an Automatic External Defibrillator

Max Persons: 12 Duration: 4 Hours

Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs) can deliver a shock to a patient who is in cardiac arrest. Early defibrillation is crucial, and every minute without defibrillation decreases the patient's chances of survival by up to 10% (Drezner, Rogers, and Horneff, 2011).

This course can teach you how to obtain and use and AED efficiently, which can give the patient the best chance of survival.
